On the 10th September Central Flooring Services employee Glenn Pearce won the specialist apprentice award at the prestigious “CITB 50th Anniversary Pride of Construction Awards” ceremony presented by Alexander Armstrong at Old Billingsgate Market, London.
The awards celebrated apprentices, employers and strategic partners most dedicated to training and skills agenda such as Ferfa’s apprentice programme, which Glenn represented.
As Glenn was very keen to learn more about resin flooring and to gain a qualification in a specialist skill area, he was registered on the Specialist Apprenticeship scheme run by FeRFA – The Resin Flooring Association.
From the first module and throughout the training scheme, Glenn’s enthusiasm to gain knowledge and competence was very evident. He looked forward to the training sessions, received very positive feedback from FeRFA Trainer, Terry Foxley, and was always keen to apply his new skills and knowledge into his
day-to-day working activity.
Central Flooring directly benefited from Glenn’s involvement in a Specialist Apprenticeship training scheme.
