C-Tec Ltd in Leighton Buzzard suffered a devastating fire which tore through the existing factory leaving nothing but ashes in the process. The existing resin floor was totally beyond repair even to the point of heat destroying the concrete topping. With the re-build of the unit underway Frances Patterson of C-Tec approached Central Flooring Services direct to help with the specification and solution to a new resin floor. We identified all the problems in question and took on board the requirements for the new floor which had to be highly chemically resistant due to the acids to be used. We also specified the drainage design to be formed in concrete by the main contractor and then tanked in resin to form a seamless chemical resistant drain. With the chemicals to be used we specified Polyurethane screed and coving.

Central flooring Services arrived on site to complete the works at the end of the project so as not to disrupt the build and carried out the work in five days.
