BRITISH GAS

Central Flooring Services was approached regarding a new hard wearing floor coating to be installed at the British Gas Training Centre in Leicester .The floor needed to be very wearing and chemically resistant with a showroom look and feel.

The specification was two coats of high build epoxy coating. The main objective which was paramount to the main contractor was that the flooring works did not affect their programme of works and tight schedule.

The flooring work was undertaken on a Friday evening after the other trades had left site and was handed back over on Monday morning so the site was not affected.

The floor was an old warehouse floor which had many cracks and bolt holes, also the expansion joints were open and in a poor condition, these were all re cut and filled with epoxy resin jointing compound.

As you can see the results are stunning, all the targets were achieved and the client left satisfied. As a result of the quality achieved we have completed several other British Gas Training academy’s throughout the U.K.
